About This Site

This site is administered by the National Women's Studies Association's
Girls and Their Allies Caucus
http://www.nwsa.org/communities/.

About the Girls & Their Allies Caucus:

The Girls and their Allies Caucus is for girls in pre-kindergarten through high school;
the educators, activists, and community members who work with them;
and the scholars who study them and issues relevant to their lives.
Its goal is to provide these constituencies with an active role and a voice in NWSA,
as well as opportunities for collaboration.

About the National Women's Studies Association:

NWSA supports and promotes feminist teaching, learning, research, and professional
and community service at the pre-K through post-secondary levels and serves as a
locus of information about the inter-disciplinary field of Women's Studies
for those outside the profession.

NWSA's annual conference provides an opportunity for teachers, students, scholars,
activists, and community and cultural workers to share research findings, strategies,
and programmatic concerns, for effecting social change.
